Zoé Grenaudier vit et travaille entre Paris et la Bourgogne. Elle façonne le grès et la faïence, privilégiant une palette de couleurs naturelles, le plus souvent simplement biscuitées ou recouvertes d’un émail transparent. Son répertoire de formes d’usage comprend des vases, boîtes, tasses, théières, beurriers, mais aussi des appliques, patères et bonbonnières.

Chaque pièce, modelée, est l’occasion d’une réflexion autour de la stylisation animale. Situées à la frontière du réel et du fantastique, ces figures ouvrent sur un imaginaire nourri de références historiques et mythologiques : des canards aux cous allongés évoquant l’Égypte ancienne, des lapins en écho à Bernard Leach, ou encore des chevaux aux lignes Art déco. Interrogée sur ces animaux, Zoé Grenaudier revendique la liberté poétique de les représenter selon une écriture personnelle, volontairement non identifiable avec certitude.

Zoé Grenaudier lives and works between Paris and Burgundy. She works with stoneware and earthenware, favouring a palette of natural colours, most often left simply biscuit-fired or covered with a transparent glaze. Her repertoire of functional forms includes vases, boxes, cups, teapots and butter dishes, as well as wall lights, hooks and bonbonnières.

Each piece, hand-built, becomes an opportunity to reflect on animal stylisation. Positioned at the boundary between the real and the fantastical, these figures open onto an imaginary world shaped by historical and mythological references: long-necked ducks evoking Ancient Egypt, rabbits echoing Bernard Leach, and horses with Art Deco lines. When asked about these animals, Zoé Grenaudier asserts the poetic freedom she allows herself in representing them, through a personal language that is deliberately ambiguous and not definitively identifiable.
